Program
- 5:00–6:00Departure from Almaty
The driver picks you up at your address; we set off for Lake Kaindy (~300 km, ~4.5 h), with a stop at the market in Baiseit village.
- KaindyLake Kaindy
A ~1.5 h walk (1–3 km trek): along the shore and up to the viewpoint over the sunken spruce forest.
- LunchSaty village
A transfer (~14 km, ~1 h) and lunch at a cosy guest house.
- CharynCharyn Canyon
A transfer (~100 km) with a stop at the Black Canyon. A ~3 km trek along the floor of the Valley of Castles to the Charyn River. Optional eco-taxi on the way back.
- EveningReturn to Almaty
The drive back (~220 km, ~2.5 h); the driver drops you at your chosen spot.
